While Cyan Boujee is no stranger to the public eye, many are just now learning about her amid a sex tape scandal involving dance music star Prince Kaybee.
As an influencer for the past three years, Boujee has consistently been at the center of social media drama, primarily due to her tumultuous personal life.
In June, she faced legal trouble when Sunday World reported her arrest for allegedly stealing an iPhone 13. The case was reportedly not pursued due to insufficient evidence for a successful prosecution.
Before this incident, Boujee had a legal encounter in the previous year when she filed an assault case against her boyfriend, Nigerian Afrobeats musician Bamzy Riches, accusing him of assaulting her.
In a viral interview on MacG’s Podcast and Chill last September, Boujee shared the story behind a video she posted on social media, depicting her bloodied apartment after a physical altercation with Bamzy Riches.
She explained, “I wasn’t interested (in him) because it started off as a sneaky link so you can imagine that if I commit to him, he’s gonna see other people. So I didn’t have a vision with this guy; he’s just not my type. He wasn’t the type that I could commit to for years.”
During the same interview, Boujee disclosed details about one of her recent ex-boyfriends, described as a politician, who used to provide her with a weekly girlfriend allowance of R50,000. She mentioned saving some of that money to finance her liposuction and Brazilian butt lift (BBL).
A year prior to this interview, Boujee made headlines by releasing a statement claiming to have been assaulted by the owner of the restaurant and live entertainment space, Corner Butcher Meat Cafe.
