In Loving Memory of Camren Darden 17, who peacefully departed this life on September 30, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. Born on April 22, 2006, Camren was the beloved son of Camille Darden and Lindell Wheaten in Centralia, IL.
Camren was a student at Springfield High School and found joy in playing XBOX, listening to music, and indulging in his passion for racing cars.
He is preceded in death by his Grandpa, Edward Black.
Camren leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories. He is survived by his mother, Camille Darden, and stepdad, Harry Hawkins of Centralia, IL, his father, Lindell Wheaten of Indianapolis, IN, his brothers Anthony Darden, God-brothers Edrar Gross and GeoVonte Olavarria, sisters Ayana Brown and Faith Hawkins, God-sisters Victoria Olavarria and Ni’Yel-Lonye Elkins. He is also fondly remembered by his Godmother Benitta Gross, aunts Ashley Bailey, Amber White, Kara Black, Tanesha Wheaten, Wyneka Blount, and Tameka Blount, uncles Josh Black and Michael Wheaten, grandmother Lori Moore, and Ray(Jeffery) Hayes, as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.
