A 20-year-old Canadian woman who was “slut-shamed” after a public threesome went viral has responded to her critics in a video of hers. Alexis Fruhling had consensual sex with two male friends at the Calgary Stampede last week and was secretly filmed by a member of the public. Unbeknownst to Ms. Fruhling and her friends, a video of their threesome was posted on Reddit and quickly went viral.

Ms Fruhling told Vice the trio came up with the idea of a threesome and walked along “a secluded alley between industrial buildings in the city center” to get some privacy. However, her sexual act was filmed without her knowledge by an unidentified witness and uploaded to community news site Reddit.
It was eventually removed from the website, but not before it was seen by hundreds of thousands of people around the world, and the images remain widely shared online. Soon after, Ms Fruhling’s identity was revealed as people matched photos and outfits on other social media sites and she was subjected to a barrage of abuse from around the world, with many calling her a “slut”. Her male friend survived the incident virtually unscathed. “I don’t understand why I should be beaten for this but the boys aren’t,” she told Vice.
“We were hoping this was just between us and our friend group, but it’s all backfired.” Now, the 20-year-old dancer from Calgary has taken the situation into her own hands, posting a video titled “Trampede “Strikes Back Their Haters,” the video was viewed by nearly 3.4 million people. In the four-and-a-half-minute video, Fruhling addressed the situation, saying: “I can’t say I’m really proud of what happened, but I’m not ashamed.”
