Vandals broke into a tomb in Rio de Janeiro’s Iguaçu Velho Cemetery, taking the head of a murdered woman. The incident occurred in March of this year, at the grave of pensioner Sabrina Tavares de Almeida, who was shot dead in August of last year at the age of 31.

According to the New York Post, police are looking for a potential witchcraft practitioner who stole the head of a murdered woman from her grave in Brazil.

Due to other evidence discovered at the scene, a Brazilian criminal expert named Fábio Barbosa Teixeira working on the case believes that the macabre grave robbery was unrelated to Almeida’s murder and that the perpetrator was a practitioner of black magic.

The vandals replaced the deceased’s head with a clay bowl, which is commonly used in religious work, as well as drink bottles and papers. This macabre gesture exacerbates the outrage and sadness of the loved ones, who are now in a situation of indescribable pain.
