The FFAR 1 has returned to Warzone with the Season 4 update, and it’s already taken the crown as the best sniper support option in the game.
Last seen in Black Ops Cold War, the FFAR was an extremely popular gun in Verdansk ’84. Often paired with the Kar98k, it was the go-to Sniper Support option thanks to its low recoil, fast time to kill, and super clean iron sights.
You can use it in Verdansk once again, so here are all the attachments, Perks, and Equipment you need to build the best FFAR 1 loadout in Warzone Season 4.
Meta FFAR 1 loadout attachments
- Optic: Volzhskiy Reflex
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
The FFAR 1’s iron sights are nowhere near as clean as they were in Cold War, so you’ll need an optic like the Volzhskiy Reflex to see what you’re shooting.
The Compensator and Vertical Foregrip will almost entirely eliminate recoil, but if you’d prefer to be hidden from the minimap, the normal Suppressor is a great option. You could take the Monolithic Suppressor, but it’ll make the FFAR extremely slow.
Extended Mag II gives you 60 rounds, which is perfect for all modes, and the Commando Grip helps with ADS and sprint to fire speed, making it a lot more mobile.

Survivor is a powerful Perk since it vastly speeds up health regen, getting you back in the fight quicker. However, it’s worth having a duplicate loadout with Scavenger so you can have full ammo if you need it.
Tracker is a meta Perk since it highlights enemies you shoot, completely countering Smoke Grenades, which tons of players use. Ghost keeps you hidden from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, which is useful in regular BR but crucial in Ranked Play.
You’ll want to use the FFAR 1 as a Sniper Support option, so using it with the Overkill loadout and a Sniper Rifle like the HDR will allow you to get the most from it.
The Throwing Knife quickly finishes off downed enemies, which is important in close-range fights, and Smoke Grenades are the ideal choice as they let you get out of tight spots.

How to unlock FFAR 1 in Warzone
The FFAR 1 is unlocked in the Season 4 Battle Pass by completing Page 6. It’s completely free, so simply play the game for a while, and you’ll soon have it unlocked.
Don’t worry if you miss out on it in Season 4, as it’ll be unlockable through The Armory afterward.
