MORARA KEBASO SPEAKS ON BOMAS ATTACK CLAIMS IT WAS PRE-PLANNED

Morara Kebaso has spoken up about his attack at the Bomas of Kenya during the public participation session regarding the impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Speaking on Spice FM, Morara claimed that the assault was orchestrated ahead of time, stating, “It seems plans had been made much earlier that I would be attacked.”

Chaos broke out when Morara tried to speak, as the crowd wanted to hear him.

But emcee TJ Kajwang opposed him, saying he would disrupt the event.

“I listened to other people raise their opinions, and when I raised my hand, the public pointed at me and demanded that I speak. But TJ Kajwang’ refused, saying I wanted to disrupt the meeting. I stood up and said, ‘No, give me the microphone.’

Suddenly, goons emerged from behind the dais, throwing chairs at me,” Morara recounted.

Was Morara Kebaso Security Compromised?

Morara noted that his personal security was compromised before the attack, as he was only allowed one security detail at the venue, raising concerns for his safety.

“When I returned to the first door, a high-ranking officer told me I could only enter with one person. That’s where my security was compromised,” he stated.

Despite the violence and the injuries he sustained, Morara has learnt an important safety lesson.

He acknowledged that he missed some warning signs leading up to the attack, saying, “I think there were enough red flags that I should have seen but did not. We fall, we rise, we learn.”
