YouTuber Mungai Eve recently sat down for a tell-all interview about her past 3-year relationship with Director Trevor,. And some of the details she revealed were, well, surprising!
Eve opened up about how she supported Trevor throughout their relationship.
In 2019, she was hustling hard, buying belts from Kamkunji market and selling them on the streets.
“That’s how I earned money for lunch and to buy my then-boyfriend supper,” she explained.
The 24-year old volunteered this info to challenge the notion people have that Trevor was the one who helped her succeed.
“People keep saying he is the one who has helped me get here, But it has gone to a point where people are petty. ” she stated,
However, she is grateful that Trevor guided her in launching her YouTube career,
“I am always grateful to him because I usually say he taught me about YouTube. If there is somebody I have ever given his flowers, it is him always in all the interviews I have done.”
Did Mungai Eve Love Director Trevor, or was he Convenient?
Mungai Eve also unceremoniously claimed that she did not love Director Trevor, but that she moved in with him bcause it was convenient.
“I was not in love with Trevor while dating him. I ended up in a come-we-stay marriage because I did not want to stay at home,” she confessed.
While they have gone their separate ways, Eve’s experiences have shaped who she is today.
“Maybe he didn’t know our relationship would end the way it did, but I was prepared,” she reflected.
