Olivia Nuzzi was initially rejected by Robert F Kennedy Jr. after he tried to grab her hand in an interview before managing to win her over and the two had ‘incredible’ FaceTime sex, sources claim.
The explosive details were reported by Page six as the fallout from their relationship continues.
Friends told outlet Six that Nuzzi, 31, revealed they enjoyed steamy FaceTime sessions, with the journalist impressed by 70-year-old RFK Jr.’s “sexual stamina.”
The pair have acknowledged that they first met while Nuzzi was profiling the wannabe politician for New York magazine.
Nuzzi, who has since been placed on leave, admitted that communications between the two “became personal” but denied things were ever physical.

However, sources have disputed her story.
“Olivia told several people that they told each other they loved each other [over the phone] every time they talked,” an insider added.
Their relationship began when Nuzzi met the married Kennedy scion at his Brentwood home and the two went for a walk as part of the profile.
Multiple sources said RFK Jr. made an attempt to grab Nuzzi’s arm or hold her hand, which disgusted her and prompted her to bring up her then-fiancé Ryan Lizza.
Nuzzi later reportedly relayed the details of the hand gesture to a colleague, who claimed she had experienced the same thing with RFK Jr and found it “creepy.” New York Post reports.
But the former presidential candidate later reportedly explained his actions by saying he wanted to tell Nuzzi something but wasn’t sure how freely he could speak.
And in the weeks following the first interview, RFK Jr. Nuzzi have been ‘love-bombed’.
‘He has done it to many women and claimed he cannot live without them. He told Olivia they would be together after the election,” the source said.
Nuzzi was engaged to Politico reporter Ryan Lizza (pictured together) at the time and reportedly turned down the alleged advance, but her attitude reportedly thawed as she continued to communicate with RFK Jr.
Nuzzi is then said to have ‘fell in love’ with the former presidential candidate, with those close to her reportedly noticing a change in her behavior whilst in contact.
Her former fiancé, Politico journalist Lizza, reportedly found out about the relationship in August.
Lizza and Nuzzi started getting engaged in 2022 but have since discussed it due to the alleged sexting scandal.
He and RFK Jr. reportedly had a ‘heated’ phone call about the alleged affair, Vanity fair reports.
The RFK Jr. team has portrayed Nuzzi as the instigator and would even file a lawsuit against her.
Mutual friend Jessica Reed Kraus told the New York Post that Nuzzi “bombarded” the ex-presidential candidate with nude photos and that RFK Jr. tried to block her number several times.
Kraus claims that Nuzzi RFK Jr. had begged to unblock her from discussing the piece, only to send a series of racy photos.
Security expert Gavin de Becker, who was appointed by RFK Jr. was hired to investigate, also said the wannabe politician was “haunted by porn.”
The two reportedly had FaceTime sex and, according to friends, even said “I love you.”
“This had nothing to do with romance,” De Becker said. Kraus added that a civil or criminal lawsuit is pending.
A source told the NYP that Nuzzi was “the aggressor,” but “both sides were aware of how crowded and risky the circumstances were and for that reason their communication was very intermittent.”
Nuzzi has since been placed on leave by New York magazine pending an investigation, although the newspaper said it had not discovered any bias in her reporting so far.
When the story broke, Nuzzi released a statement acknowledging the relationship.
“Earlier this year, the nature of some communications between me and a former journalist became personal,” she said.
‘I did not report directly on the subject at that time or use them as a source. The relationship was never physical, but should have been made public to avoid the appearance of a conflict.

‘Sir. Kennedy met Olivia Nuzzi only once in his life for an interview she requested, which resulted in a hit,” the RFK Jr. spokesperson said.
A source added that the nature of the relationship was “emotional and digital in nature, not physical.”
