Kenyan stand-up comedian who doubles up as a digital content creator Oliver Otieno widely known as YY Comedian has publicly disclosed his weight loss journey.
In a series of posts shared on his Instastories on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, YY revealed that he has been forced to adjust his diet stating that he no longer eats foods with high carbohydrates such as ugali, rice and chapati.
Additionally, YY hinted at including intermittent fasting in his journey to achieving his dream body stating that he does not eat dinner and if reaches 6.00 pm without eating anything he skips and eats the following day.
The comedian stated that the reason behind his diet change and training is to achieve six-pack adding that in the next two months, he is optimistic that he will have it.
“Day 20 without ugali, rice and dinner nilisahau chapati pia. We are almost flat. The next two months will be a different story. Keep it here. Punguza ama uwache ugali,” YY revealed.
“Na six ikifika kama hujakula anything rukisha to the following day.”
The digital content creator further attributed his current body goals to diet. He says his diet change has contributed a lot compared to gym training.
“Diet 80% training 20%,” he said.
YY break up claims
On Thursday, September 5, 2024, Kenyan actress who doubles up as a digital content creator Marya Okoth took to her Instagram account and announced a breakup with his lover and baby daddy YY Comedian.
Marya disclosed that she and her baby daddy will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances.
Additionally, the award-winning influencer thanked her fans and followers for the immense support and love they have shown them adding that they expect individual privacy from their fervent supporters.
“Hello and good morning. We are saddened to let you know that Marya Okoth and YY Comedian will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances. Thank you for your love and support through our union. We expect individual privacy from each one of you,” Marya said.
The couple shares a 3-year-old daughter.
