When the wise men said, “Do not let your relationship stop you from finding your soulmate,” singer Nadia Mukami and her baby daddy and fellow singer Arrow Bwoy took it very seriously.
Nadia recently opened up about how their relationship began.
The award-winning artist revealed that before she started dating Arrow Bwoy, she was in another relationship, which she described as serious but unfulfilling.
“I was in a relationship with a very serious guy, but it was not exciting. The spark just was not there anymore,” she admitted during a sit-down with Oga Obinna.
Nadia explained that, although she had not formally ended things with her then-partner, emotionally she had already checked out.
“I had mentally left the relationship. It did not matter if he called or did not call anymore,” she shared.
That emotional gap she felt opened the door for her to connect with Arrow Bwoy, a connection that started the moment that they first met at a night club. And that would blossom into something much deeper.
What makes this story even more intriguing is the timeline. According to Nadia, both she and Arrow were still in relationships when they first started talking.
“He was in a whole relationship, and I was in a whole relationship. But we just clicked. We could talk for hours on the phone, and it felt so natural,” Nadia revealed.
Their bond was too strong to not pursue. And both made the decision to move forward together.
“The first day we started dating, I went to meet someone for work, and Arrow came along. We had been talking, and at that moment, we both knew we were ready to do this,” Nadia recounted.
“He asked me if I was ready to start something with him, and I said yes. I did not mind.”

However, the transition wasn’t without its challenges.
Nadia’s ex found out about her new relationship through social media, and things didn’t end on the best of terms.
“He was not much of an online person, so I guess I got lucky. But when he found out, he texted me, and I just blocked him,” Nadia admitted.
“That’s how it ended. He was too serious, and it just wasn’t exciting anymore.”
Despite having a child together, Nadia Mukami says she’s still “single” until Arrow Bwoy officially marries her.
“We have a son, but until he marries me properly, I’m single,” she said boldly.
