Meet Alison Oliver, born June 3, 1997, the Irish actress killin’ it with her breakout role as Frances in the BBC Three and Hulu miniseries “Conversations with Friends” (2022). She got the nod from Variety as one of the “10 actors to watch” in 2023.
Oliver reps Ballintemple, Cork, but later dipped to Blackrock. After gettin’ her education on at Scoil Mhuire in Cork, she was all about them drama, singing, and dancing lessons. She applied to Trinity College Dublin’s drama school and eventually copped a Bachelor of Arts in Acting in 2020, straight bossin’ it.
Her career went from zero to a hundred with her role in “Conversations with Friends,” and she made her London stage debut in “Women, Beware the Devil” at the Almeida Theatre in February 2023, killin’ the game. Oliver’s film debut came in “Saltburn”, written and directed by Emerald Fennell, and we’re hyped to see what’s next.
