Melissa Leong has shared her latest film career after leaving MasterChef Australia.
The former cooking show judge is making a childhood dream come true by appearing on ABC’s Playschool.
“I grew up watching Playschool,” the 42-year-old wrote in her Instagram caption on Sunday.
‘This iconic show has been a staple of the Australian entertainment industry for 60 years and I am thrilled to be part of the magic this week!’
She continued: ‘Come to @abcaustralia or @abckids on Wednesday 18th at 9am!’
“This is the only time you’ll ever see me sing and dance on TV. So you know how much I wanted to do this!”
Melissa concluded: ‘Thank you to the amazing @alexpappsofficial and @rachaelcoopes for their warm and welcoming welcome.’
This comes after Melissa revealed she is the host of a new three-part documentary series about Australia’s healthcare system.

The TV star appeared in the new SBS documentary series The Hospital: In The Deep End in June.
During this program she spent time with medical professionals at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney to gain a better understanding of health issues in Australia.
The former MasterChef Australia judge told TV WEEK that filming the series was a challenge.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph In October, the journalist and food critic described the program as “full of heart” and “incredible people” committed to saving lives.

Her excitement was palpable when she recently spoke to Ny Breaking Australia about her new presenting job at Dessert Masters, describing it as a “dream come true”.
She also announced that she would host UFC Fight Week on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
