Valencia have joined the race for Mason Greenwood by making a bid for the Manchester United striker.
The Spanish side have joined Juventus to cement their interest in signing the 22-year-old Englishman.
Juventus have made a proposal worth up to £40 million, while Napoli and clubs in Germany have also shown interest.
It was previously reported that United are looking to sell Greenwood this summer and that the £40m figure is close to their valuation as they look to raise money for Erik ten Hag’s transfer kitty.
Juventus’ proposal was not an opening offer as talks have been going on for some time, but the Italian side are growing increasingly hopeful of a solution if Greenwood also agrees.

However, Valencia are now also interested following his impressive loan spell at LaLiga side Getafe.
Greenwood scored ten goals in 36 games for the Spanish club.
‘I am incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for a great season, thank you for making me feel welcome and one of you. I have loved every second of it, together with my teammates and club,” Greenwood said on Instagram.
‘A bittersweet ending, but it was a pleasure to play for you, I wish you all the best.’
Juventus recently appointed Thiago Motta as their new head coach and are negotiating the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, while Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior are heading in the other direction.
They may sell winger Federico Chiesa and then also retain a stake in United winger Jadon Sancho, who is also available for £40m.
Valencia, meanwhile, finished the recent season in ninth place, having narrowly avoided relegation the year before.
