Liam Gallagher ‘flies rescue dog on private jet’ as the pooch joins family for summer getaway in France

He is known for his tough appearance and rough attitude.

But when he’s with his dog Liam Gallagher, he’s a real softie. The rock star does everything he can to make sure his dog is part of the family.

Buttons was rescued in Thailand last year by the charity Happy Doggo and flew with the family in a private jet so he could join the Gallaghers on their summer holiday in France.

A source told The Sun: ‘He went to France with his family but it wouldn’t have been the same without Buttons so he used a private jet so she could come too.

‘Buttons is the most spoiled dog, but Liam and partner Debbie wouldn’t have it any other way. When Liam’s not on stage, they’re inseparable.’

Liam was recently seen for the first time since Oasis’ long-awaited reformation last month.

The 51-year-old musician wore a navy raincoat as he walked with Buttons across a moorland in southwest England on Monday.

And the star has also done his best to help other abused and abandoned dogs.

Last month he donated his stage set to the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, who in return donated £25,000 to Happy Doggo.

MailOnline has contacted Liam’s representatives for comment.

Buttons was rescued from the jungle in Thailand and Liam found him while searching for a dog online.

Thai dog rescuer Niall Harbison revealed: ‘After three months in foster care she was ready to travel 10,000km across the world. She was a very brave little girl and her life has been changed forever.’

In the caption he added: ‘From being dumped in the Thai jungle to this. You can’t make it up, Buttons.

‘You did it brave girl. She is in safe hands @liamgallagher’

A curious fan asked Niall how Liam had adopted one of their shelter dogs. The shelter responded that he had signed up “just like everyone else.”

He wrote: ‘He applied like everyone else and then we found out it was *that* Liam Gallagher?!!!’

It comes after Liam’s youngest son Gene, will support Oasis on their sold-out reunion tour.

Gene, 23, has told friends that the indie rock group he leads, Villanelle, will be one of 10 opening acts when his father, 51, and uncle Noel, 57, take to the stage next September.

An insider told MailOnline: ‘Gene is supportive of Oasis. He’s told a few people and he’s really excited. He loves playing with his dad and knows it’s going to be huge for his music career.’

Villanelle has not yet signed a contract, but will release her first single on an independent label in November.

Oasis are scheduled to embark on a massive 17-concert tour of the UK, with dates in Dublin, Liverpool, Manchester and London, with more international dates to be announced soon.

Fans launched a fierce criticism of Oasis last week, complaining about the high cost of tickets for their upcoming shows.

Hordes of fans were being affected by being turned away by websites and put at the back of the queue after being mistaken for bots. Tickets were also being hijacked by people and sold on for thousands of pounds. Some websites also doubled ticket prices from around £148 to £355.

And Liam, never one to shy away from controversy, broke his silence on social media amid the row, only to face further criticism for his outbursts, with some accusing him of “shouting.”[ing] from his ivory tower to the poor.’

He posted this morning on X, formerly Twitter: ‘OASIS is back, you’re more than welcome and I hear their ATTITUDE STINKS. Good to know nothing ever changes.’

And when asked how he felt, the 51-year-old replied: ‘I’m just kidding, I’m so fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking I told you guys we’d get back together one fine day [sic]’
