Role Overview:

As an Awards Management Intern, you will be responsible for providing overall support to both awards and implementing partners, ensuring effective management and coordination of grants, awards, and partnerships. You’ll work with relevant departments to ensure processes run smoothly, from proposal development to compliance with donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development: Assisting with managing documentation, uploading onto the Award Management System (AMS), and ensuring workflows are completed on time.
  • Awards & Partnership Management: Supporting in meetings, tracking budgets, agreements, and maintaining trackers for income, funding, and award closures.
  • Donor Compliance: Helping ensure compliance with donor requirements, such as deadlines and audit procedures.
  • Reporting and Coordination: Assisting in preparing reports and tracking project progress, working closely with the Awards Assistant to ensure timely communication.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to handle complex tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling award documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic understanding of financial or grant management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships in a multicultural environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience with Save the Children’s award management systems would be an advantage, but not required.
