The Ministry has received communication from the Kenya High Commission in Ottawa, informing of the 2024-2025 Vanier Canada Graduate scholarship.
The Scholarship program is open to students who wish to pursue their PhD studies at eligible Canadian institutions.
Details of the programme:
- Programme name: Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships
- Funding organization: Government of Canada
- Target audience: Foreign Citizens, Canadian Citizens and
Permanent Residents of Canada. - Duration: 3 years (non-renewable)
- Value: $50,000 per year
- Application Deadline: 30th October, 2024 at 20:00p.m Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Nomination for the Vanier CGS must be made through the eligible Canadian institution where the applicant plans to pursue their PhD studies.
