Kenya’s most talked-about socialites, Vera Sidika and Shakila, seem to have finally squashed their long-standing beef, or at least that’s what they claim.

Taking to her Instagram, Sidika dropped the mic by posting postcards from their little get-together at a recent party that hinted Shakila had begged her for forgiveness.

“I told y’all will become believers!! She knows who the real queen is so she had to beg to be on my good side Queen Mother anyway, apology accepted. We cool though little baby #iam_shakila. No grudges,” Vera Sidika wrote in a series of videos posted.

Shakila, never one to be left out of the drama, responded on her Instagram story suggesting that Vera apologised to her.

“They always apologise when it comes to me,” Shakila stated.

Vera Sidika, Shakila feud

The feud between the two started back in 2023 when Shakila suggested Vera should retire from the socialite scene and spend more time at home.

Vera fired back with a jab at Shakila, claiming the younger socialite had more than 100 body count.

Things only escalated from there, with Shakila critiquing Vera’s figure, and calling her out for allegedly having cosmetic enhancements.

“At least mine is natural and proportional…not plastic,” she said at the time, clearly not interested in letting the drama simmer down.

When Sidika’s relationship with her then-husband, Brown Mauzo, hit the rocks, Shakila wasted no time celebrating the breakup.

“This is the happiest day of my life. I knew you were always the problem, even for a beach boy to leave you. But then again, this might all be clout, we all know that you missed that. Enjoy the few days of fame. Hope you changed your producers because the last song was not giving,” Shakila stated.
