Platt admitted that his “highlight of the evening” was the “surprise concert by our all-time favorite band Muna,” as reported by Entertainment weekly.

“At that point, our souls left our bodies and we haven’t come back yet,” he said. “We’ll never be able to repay them. They even brought Noah’s brother Adrian — aka Yoke Lore — in to finish the set with them on Silk Chiffon.”

The duo first met in 2014, when Galvin and some mutual friends were creating a web series and asked Platt to guest star.

“We first met while filming with a small crew in his mother’s old apartment, improvising together,” Platt recalled of their first collaboration. “I played his weird roommate who loved cacti and cried over his distant cousin Josh Groban. Noah was a medium in it.”

The duo gained national fame for their portrayals of the title character in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.

Platt originally originated the role during its premiere performance at the Music Box Theatre in 2016, which earned him a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical.

But the following year, Galvin was named as a temporary replacement for the title role.

In November 2017, he officially took over the role from Evan Hansen and continued in that role until February 4, 2018.

Platt’s film resume includes the film series Pitch Perfect (2012-2017), Ricki and the Flash (2015), Run This Town (2019) and Theater Camp. In recent years, he starred in the Netflix series The Politician (2019-2020).

Galvin’s film credits include Olivia Wilde’s Booksmart (2019), the sitcom The Real O’Neals (2016-2017), and the medical drama The Good Doctor (2020-2024).
