FSU fan flees social media after he gets called out by ESPN over vile poop bet that spectacularly backfires

A Florida State University football fan has disappeared from social media after ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt insulted him on Monday night.

A Seminoles fan with account name @321nole predicted last Tuesday, after the team’s season opener loss to Georgia Tech, that his team would bounce back.

That didn’t happen for the nation’s No. 10 team, which lost 28-13 to Boston College to move to 0-2.

“If Florida State loses to (Boston College) this weekend I will eat dog poop out of a red solo cup with a spoon and post a video of myself doing it. Book it!” the person wrote on X.

The account has since been deleted and college football sleuths are trying to find information about @321nole.

The effort to uncover the identity of the poop betting fan has gone viral, with Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin getting involved.

“You can’t hide, man,” Kiffin posted on X.

The bravado Florida State fans have shown since their selection to last year’s College Football Playoff is the reason the Seminoles are underrated.

They were not selected for the four-team field despite being undefeated conference champions, a record that would have guaranteed FSU a bye in the expanded 12-team field.

Since that outburst, Florida State hasn’t won a game, including a 63-3 loss to Georgia in last year’s Orange Bowl.

Florida State was only ranked No. 10 before the game, as the new rankings aren’t out until Week 2 of the college football season. The Seminoles are likely to drop out of the rankings on Sunday, as they are inactive until Sept. 14.

The problems are unlikely to go away for Florida State, which now plays Memphis. Memphis was the team that Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell coached before coming to Tallahassee.

The Tigers are a popular Group of Five pick for the College Football Playoff.
