Job Description

Reporting to the Workspace Automation Lead, the position holder will bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques, and/or reusing existing solutions by means of automation, reducing system design complexity, reducing incident response/resolution times, simplifying the support and customer experience.

  • Agile ways of working, including the use of tools such as Jira & Confluence 
  • Work as a Squad Member in the domain of expertise, to maximize Squad performance by sharing expertise with Squad members and working cross-functionally with other squads/teams.
  • Responsible for building, maintaining and supporting high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable and distributed systems.
  • Responsible for application development to ensure applications fit within the infrastructure with scalability, reliability and security designed and implemented from the onset. 
  • Responsible for establishing and improving team processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity of people  and systems. 
  • Responsible for reviewing  cloud technologies and defining digital transformation models and roadmaps for the digital workspace domain.
  • Lead in automation of infrastructure at massive scale to support scaling of digital services.
  • Professional experience in building robust data pipelines using ETL tools
  • Plan, design and implement data analytics or digital solutions across Digital Workspace
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to gather, understand and define requirements for improvement.
  • Analyze requirements, identify required work and estimate development tasks.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, managers and Business teams to develop innovative solutions with a target to reduce repetitive tasks or processes through automation. 
  • Participate in agile teams to build operational efficiencies and improve Digital workspace customer experience. 
  • Work closely with respective teams to test and confirm the developed solutions meet a satisfactory user journey.
  • Document digital Workspace designs and solutions being developed to address operational needs. 
  • Plan, design and implement monitoring requirements for all Digital Workspace systems. 
  • Evolve user systems to cloud native and collaborate in testing and implementation to ensure set requirements and standards are achieved. 
  • Implement and enhance security designs for all Digital workspace systems

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Telecommunications/Computer Science or IT Related courses
  • Agile Methodology
