Blossoms have ‘signed to support’ Oasis on their huge comeback tour next year.
The indie band will reportedly join the Gallagher brothers for their gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park.
The Stockport group have three UK number one albums to their name and earlier this year performed a special gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall as support act for Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds.
‘Noel, Liam and Blossoms have been friends for years and as the band are also from Manchester, it was a no-brainer to ask them to support Oasis,’ a source said The sun.
‘It will be announced in due course, but Blossoms have agreed to support Oasis at their Heaton Park shows and of course they jumped at the chance.

‘For them, it’s come full circle, because the very first performance of members Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan was with Oasis at Heaton Park.’

The reports come after Noel and Liam ‘secretly reunited in the South of France in preparation for their reunion tour’, as fans rush to get their hands on tickets.
Liam, 51, jetted off to the French Riviera on Friday with his mother Peggy, 81, fiancée Debbie Gwyther and his rescue dog Buttons, while Noel was spotted at his recording studio in north London.
However, sources claim that Noel, 57, will be joining them soon and their mother is delighted about it.
“Peggy is overjoyed that her boys have finally patched things up after more than a decade of not speaking to each other,” a source said The sun.
“She has remained close to both of them and has never taken sides in their fights. The prospect of them all being on holiday together is a dream come true.”

The duo are expected to earn £50 million from the shows, with the first show taking place in Cardiff on July 4.

On Matt Morgan’s podcast he said: ‘I go everywhere on holiday. I go to the South of France for a week and then I go to Ibiza for a week.
‘Then I’m going to London for a week and then I’m going to Greece for a couple of weeks. I might go to LA after that to visit some friends.’
This came after Noel reportedly ‘gave in and agreed’ to the Oasis reunion during a series of phone calls to his brother Liam, ending their 15-year feud.
The brothers’ troubled relationship reached a head in 2009, after a backstage altercation in Paris led to Noel leaving the iconic Britpop band.
In recent years, Liam has wanted to make amends with his brother and reform Oasis, but his older brother would have none of it.

But as Liam closed his set at Reading Festival, he hinted that an announcement could be made at 8am on Tuesday. A short clip of a sign in the style of the Oasis logo was projected onto a large screen above the stage and subsequently shared to Oasis and Liam’s official Instagram and X accounts.
Fans were furious on Friday when resale tickets sold for thousands of pounds just minutes after the first people in the country managed to get their hands on tickets for next summer’s UK tour.
The first tickets went on sale at 7pm on Friday for those lucky enough to secure a successful pre-sale code, with millions expected to line up to see the iconic group on general sale on Saturday.
But others were furious when greedy ticket sellers immediately started reselling tickets at sky-high prices. FanFair Alliance, a group that opposes “industrial scale” secondary ticketing, said it had found 80 tickets in the hope of making a staggering £200,000 within 20 minutes of the pre-sale.
Some are now being flogged for upwards of £6,000 per person for a gig at London’s Wembley Stadium. Others, for hospitality clubs, can be found for a staggering £10,578 for two.
The band have now also voiced their condemnation and slammed the shameless money-grabbers, claiming that the tickets will be cancelled by the promoters.
They wrote on X: ‘We have noticed that people have been trying to sell tickets on the secondary market since the pre-sale started.’
‘Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold at face value via Ticketmaster and Twickets.’
‘Tickets sold in violation of the terms and conditions will be cancelled by the organizers.’

‘This money is being extorted from fans, siphoned out of the British economy and funneled through the coffers of foreign websites.’
“This kind of consumer exploitation can only be curtailed by the government. The only solution is to ban the resale of tickets for profit.”
It appears that fake accounts are also selling fake cards, for amounts of up to £800.
Tickets are selling for over £6,300 on Stubhub, while others appear to be for sale on Viagogo for thousands of pounds.
Oasis will play five nights at the National Stadium, as well as five dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, three at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield, two at Dublin’s Croke Park and two at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
