The captain who caught Liam Gallagher and Lily Allen having sex in first class has told how the horny stars were so into the moment they were repeatedly asked to stop.
The former Virgin Atlantic employee, who wished to remain anonymous, told MailOnline that cabin crew tried to intervene after they caught the pair under the covers during their 11-hour, alcohol-fuelled journey.
When the captain first spoke about the incident, he told how the music stars drank copious amounts of champagne before boarding the flight between London and the Far East and how they converted their first class seats into beds before becoming intimate.
Lily first revealed the 2009 affair in her 2018 autobiography My Thoughts Exactly and the affair caused tensions in Liam’s relationship with All Saints star Nicole Appleton, who he was married to at the time.
The captain said: ‘Just over an hour into the flight I was called from the cockpit by a cabin crew member who said Lily Allen was in bed with Liam Gallagher.

“I came outside and saw the two of them under a duvet. There was a lot of movement and they weren’t reading each other bedtime stories. It was obvious what they were doing.”
He continued: ‘A crew member tried to stop them at first, but they didn’t listen, so they called me. A few moments later, Lily got up, went back to her seat and grabbed an e-cigarette.
‘One of the cabin crew asked me, ‘Should I stop her?’ but I said, ‘She’s just fucked Liam Gallagher. Let her have a few hits and she’ll pass out.’
The captain denied that their behavior went unpunished because they were stars, admitting that it was “hard to keep” passengers from joining the “Mile High Club.”
He explained: ‘When the lights are off on the plane, people do annoying things all the time, especially in first class.
“Some of them want to join the mile high club, but it’s not that easy to stop them. You can’t tell a passenger to stop having sex, what if they don’t?”
“You can’t be a father to all the passengers, even if they’re big stars and you know they’re doing something they shouldn’t be doing.”
Liam and Lily flew to Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival. Their flight left Heathrow Airport on July 23rd and landed the following morning.
In the shocking excerpt from her book, Lily claims they went to his hotel together after things got out of hand and they were “broken” on the plane.

Liam begged Lily, a lifelong Oasis fan, never to reveal their affair, fearing it would mean the end of his marriage to Nicole, whom he had married a year earlier.
She wrote: ‘We got drunk on the plane. At one point Liam and I were in the toilet together and did something he shouldn’t have done, and it wasn’t drugs.
‘Then we lay together in a lounger.
“When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his trademark nasal drawl, ‘What are you doing now? Why don’t you come back to our hotel?’… I said, ‘Yeah, okay.’
She added: ‘It wasn’t until the next day, when he said something like, ‘Nobody can know this because of Nic,’ that I realised he was married.’
“I knew Noel was married and I knew Liam was married to Patsy Kensit. That was partly why I liked him.”
Although Nicole hoped the secret affair would never come to light, she discovered the truth six months after Liam asked Lily to lie to his wife.
The Fear singer explained that the Oasis frontman “sounded awful, like he’d been up all night” when he told her to tell Nicole that their night of passion was “b*****ks”.
Lilly wrote that she agreed, telling him, “Oh, Liam, yeah, sure, it’s all b****x if that’s what you want it to be — and don’t think about it too much or at all, and then maybe it will go away and not interfere with what really matters. The people we love and rely on.”

When Nicole heard rumors in 2018 that Lily had come clean, years after she was told nothing had happened, she wrote a message to the Fear singer on X, then known as Twitter: “One day our paths will cross @lilyallen!”
