Australian Olympic couple Shayna Jack and Joel Rintala have announced their engagement.
The 25-year-old swimmer and her hockey partner Joel (28) shared a touching message on Instagram on Monday in which they confirmed the good news.
The couple posted a gallery of loved-up photos showing them embracing passionately shortly after they got engaged.
One of the adorable photos showed the happy couple gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes.
In another photo, Shayna shows off her stunning diamond engagement ring as Joel kisses her on the forehead.
In the photos, which they captioned with some revealing words, the two look completely in love.

Shayna and Joel celebrated their eight-year anniversary as a couple in April.
This exciting announcement comes after Shayna celebrated some huge victories at the recent Olympic Games in Paris.
The Brisbane-born swimmer won two gold medals in freestyle at the recent event.

Unfortunately, Joel did not qualify for the 2024 Olympics, but previously won gold in 2017 at the prestigious hockey event, the Sultan of Johor Cup.
Shayna indicated in an interview last month in Paris that she still really wants to participate in the Olympic Games.
“I definitely have the motivation to come back in four years,” she said.
‘This is just the beginning for me. This is my redemption chapter and hopefully there is more to come and more of a story to tell.
