73 killed in coordinated Balochistan terror attacks

A series of terrorist attacks in Balochistan, Pakistan, claimed the lives of at least 73 individuals. The strikes hit police stations, railway lines, and highways. Security forces responded with a counter-attack on the militants, resulting in numerous casualties, according to officials.

The Pakistani military reported that 14 soldiers and police officers, along with 21 terrorists, died in the ensuing gunfight. Officials stated that the attackers targeted civilians by ambushing buses and trucks on major highways.

Balochistan’s chief minister confirmed that 38 civilians lost their lives. Local authorities detailed that 23 of these victims died in a roadside attack where armed men checked IDs before executing passengers and setting vehicles ablaze. Witnesses recounted that people were pulled from vehicles and shot in front of their families.

Reports indicate that armed men obstructed highways, forcing passengers out of their vehicles. After checking ID cards, the terrorists shot the passengers. Around 35 vehicles were torched on the highway in Musakhail.

The attackers primarily targeted workers from Punjab, Pakistan’s eastern province, accusing them of exploiting Balochistan’s resources.
