Aisling Bea has welcomed her first child with boyfriend Jack Freeman.
The 40-year-old comedian announced the happy news on Monday by sharing a cute photo of their “little gift,” but her pregnancy has been given a “one-star” rating.
Aisling beamed as she saw the Instagram update, with her newborn baby on her chest.
She wrote: ‘Pregnancy’s Trip Advisor rating: one star’, before joking that breakfast was not included and the drinks menu was ‘limited’.
The actress listed the negative effects: ‘Urinary tract infections, bleeding, depression, cramps, insomnia, nosebleeds, sinus congestion, migraines, vomiting and being touched by people without asking.’

She continued: ‘Grinding bones, moving organs, stretching skin, the message that you will forget all the pain/that it is a privilege/that it will all be “worth it” in the end, a greater awareness of climate change and worst of all: boredom. All of this was described as normal and “a nice bath” was repeatedly recommended as the solution to the above problems.’
Aisling added a short list of positives, writing: ‘Bath is quite nice. Lots of help with bags at end of stay. Before check out the guy from the kebab shop nearby gave me free extra chips and a wink which I really appreciated. Got a little gift at check out which I admit is quite cute.’
Aisling announced she was pregnant with her first child in June in a hilarious post after flashing her baby bump at the Big Slick ’24 event.
Aisling showed off her baby bump by sharing hilarious videos and photos of a face drawn on her bare stomach after performing a background dance with comedian Seth Herzog.
In the caption of her post, Aisling also revealed that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, producer Jack.
She wrote: ‘Dignity Intact. Got pregnant so I could try to put something next to Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older.’
‘Thank you to @bigslickkc, Paul, @sethherzog, superboy @travisKelce and especially our angel @sherylcrow for helping me show off my belly in the most dignified and stylish way possible.’
“Sheryl said Seth and I could become her very professional backup dancers with our ridiculous idea, how on-brand! She just wants to have some fun, yawl.”

She added: ‘And thanks to @jackoby.freeman and @elsie for making their bellies so glamorous, and to one of them in particular for getting me pregnant in the first place.’

Aisling posted a message with a number of snaps of the moment she showed off her baby bump while dancing on stage at the charity event.
The star dated actor Michael Sheen for less than a year in 2018, before his ex Sarah Silverman confirmed their romance was over.
