Manchester City are reportedly considering a surprise player as a replacement for Erling Haaland.

Haaland has started the new season in typically clinical fashion, scoring four goals in his first two Premier League games.

In total, Haaland has an impressive record of 94 goals in 101 games for City.

However, City manager Pep Guardiola is keen to bring in another striker as Haaland’s replacement.

The need to sign another striker was further heightened when Julian Alvarez left for Atletico Madrid for £81million.
