The reason Carrie Bickmore’s ex husband Chris Walker left the Logies amid TV star’s ‘flirtfest’

Carrie Bickmore’s ex-husband Chris Walker walked out of the Logies ceremony after her flirty interaction with Dr. Chris Brown.

Carrie, 43, and Dr. Chris, 45, have been friends for a long time, but the two TV personalities reportedly had a “flirtfest” with each other during the recent awards show.

The two were spotted hugging and chatting, then laughing a bit before presenting an award together. But it didn’t stop there.

While on stage to present the Graham Kennedy Award for Best New Talent, a 20-year-old clip from Harry’s Practice was shown, featuring Dr. Chris shirtless.

When the clip ended, Carrie joked, “You should take your shirt off more often, maybe you’ll get a gold medal.” [Logie].

Carrie’s former TV producer Chris, who split from The Project star last year, was also in attendance but stayed away during the segment.

An insider told Woman’s Day: ‘Chris wasn’t in the audience when Carrie was on stage. He probably did that to avoid TV cameras going off on his table.’

Carrie and Dr. Chris are both believed to be single at the moment. The TV veteran split from his girlfriend and model Brooke Meredith in 2022.

This comes after Carrie’s ex-partner of 11 years broke his silence on the couple’s painful split last year.

The television producer narrates an upcoming episode of Luke Darcy’s Empowering leaders podcast, as reported by the Herald Sun on Sunday, that he struggles with the ‘sadness’ of the divorce.

Chris explained that the hardest part about their new co-parenting arrangement is having to “say goodbye to the kids twice a week.”

“I still find that a huge challenge. I always assumed I would be with them 100 percent of the time,” he explained.

“When it comes to being a father, I was born to be one. I love it and I want to be with them all the time. I find that really hard.”

Chris said he had been supported by friends and family through “more difficult times,” but added: “The problem is that grief can last a long time.”

Carrie announced their split in a post on Instagram in January last year, saying they wanted to focus on raising their three children together: Ollie, 16, Evie, eight, and Adelaide, five.

“It is with great sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,” she wrote.

Although this is a difficult time, our focus is on parenting, the love and support we give to our three children Ollie, Evie and Addie, with everything we have.

“They are doing great. We will not comment further.”
