Leaders drawn from the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance have come out strongly to launch their serious theats against the Inspector General of police Mr Japheth Koome.
This incident happened at the time President William Ruto was on his tour of Mozambique for bilateral talks between the two countries of the Africa continent.
A section of top Azimio leaders did not hesitate to speak about Koome and how they are intending to have him leave the current position that he holds.
First, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper party has claimed that his team is not going to engage their colleagues from Kenya Kwanza on the issue of police brutality as he believes it is a serious one for it to be discussed at Bomas.
On her part, governor Gladys Wanga has called on justice to be served to mothers who have lost their children due to the allegedly rogue police officers.
The former Cabinet Secretary honorable Eugene Wamalwa made his point by arguing that Japheth Koome is not fit to hold public office and that he was going to censure a motion against him.
Just like Wamalwa, Homa Bay Town member of parliament honorable Peter Kaluma has supported him and added that he will also table a motion of no confidence against Koome. He further narrates that they are not going to continue crying yet their people are dying.
Their tough statements against Koome comes barely one year after he was appointed into the inspector general position by President William Ruto.
