44 passengers have been left sustaining injuries following a road accident at the Twin Bridge in Molo, Nakuru County along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway.
According to a statement issued by the Kenya R*******s on Saturday, August 24, 2024, a humanitarian organisation, 14 of those who were injured have been rushed to the Molo Sub County Hospital.
Kenya R*******s added that 30 have been treated at the scene.
“Following a road traffic incident at the Twin Bridge in Molo, Nakuru County, 44 p****e have been injured.
“14 have been taken to Molo Sub County Hospital and 30 have been treated at the scene,” a Kenya R*******s statement read in part.
Others feared t*****d
Kenya R*******s however noted that its team on the ground had launched an operation to search for those feared t*****d following the accident. The non-profit organisation did not immediately reveal those who are feared t*****d following the c*****e.
However, it informed Kenyans that the National Police Service and the Nakuru County Government are actively involved in the operation.
The Saturday morning accident involved a public service vehicle (PSV) which plies that route.
By the time of this publication, the National Police Service (NPS) had not issued a comprehensive statement regarding the accident.
