Two months after filming for the highly anticipated film Freakier Friday and lead actress Jamie Lee Curtis showed she’s willing to deliver the perfect scene while performing her own stunts.
In one of the production’s final scenes, the 65-year-old actress was seen jumping on the hood of a car numerous times, wearing a tight, bright pink dress and gray, knee-high boots.
And every time director Nisha Ganatra yelled “cut,” Curtis would quickly head to her on-set glam team to touch up her hair, makeup, and other things so she was ready to go again.
A second photo shows the lead actress on set getting her long gray locks refreshed in preparation for another go.
Not long after they finally got what they wanted from this particular scene, her co-star, Lindsay Lohan, posted a message on her Instagram page: “It’s the end of FREAKIER FRIDAY.”

After each take of the car hood scene, Curtis could be seen standing to the side as she touched up her on-screen outfit of a bright pink dress, gray knee-high boots, and her gray locks in ponytails.
The actress, who reprises her role as Anna, raved about everyone who helped make the shoot as great as possible.
“Thank you to the amazing cast, crew, producers and everyone @disneystudios who put so much love and effort into making this film!” she shared. “I can’t wait to share it with you all!”
Lohan, 38, announced that filming for the fantasy comedy had wrapped with a photo of herself riding a bicycle with a big smile on her face.
She seems very happy, judging by the broad smile on her face, dressed in cut-off jeans with a black jacket over an orange, red and yellow top, green sneakers and a helmet over her long red locks.
Not to be outdone, Curtis also took to his Instagram page to ramp up promotion for the film, which will now head to the editing room for some tweaks before it hits theaters next year.
“We’ve done everything we can to keep our story private and under wraps until it’s time to release, but every now and then an image comes out that doesn’t tell us anything about the story or what happens to the characters, but it does show the joy and fun we had making #FREAKIERFRIDAY,” she began, referencing a new photo of herself and Lohan from the final day of the shoot.
The two actresses can be seen embracing and playing on the beach and in the sea.

The former child star showed off her feminine curves in a jumpsuit with green shorts and her long red locks in a loose ponytail. Her co-star wore a classic black wetsuit as she played in the ocean.
“And we know it’s going to be the experience you’ll have in theaters next year,” the original Scream Queen explained. “Yes, you heard me… The theaters. The place we all go and have a shared experience in the dark eating popcorn and candy and laughing together and sometimes crying together. Until then……. @lindsaylohan @disneystudios.”
Her willingness to do almost all of her own stunts dates back decades, when she shot the action film True Lies (1994) with Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron in the director’s chair, according to Screen tirade.
The actress was willing to perform dangerous stunts herself, such as the famous helicopter and limousine stunts, but took only small precautions to ensure she could escape if something went wrong.

It turns out Curtis only asked for a knife and wire cutters for her safety during those potentially questionable stunts in True Lies.
She also did most of the stunts herself for her Oscar-winning performance in the comedy-drama film Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022), showing her fearlessness in the face of potential danger on screen.
Lohan and Curtis marked the start of filming for the Freaky Friday sequel on June 24 with a photo of them sitting in front of each other’s trailers on set, accompanied by video clips of them striking various poses, all smiling.
“The Colemans are back and coming to theaters in 2025! The Freaky Friday sequel is now in production!” they shared in the caption.

The new story also features characters created by Heather Hach and Leslie Dixon, the duo who wrote the script for the 2003 reboot.
Many stars from the original film reboot also return to reprise their roles, including Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao.
Other cast members include Sophia Hammons, Julia Butters, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Manny Jacinto, who was first spotted on set Wednesday night in Los Angeles while filming one of the final scenes with Curtis and Sophia Hammons.

The three actors were filmed embracing while filming the movie. The Halloween star was also seen hugging several other crew members, including director Nisha Ganatra.
“Manny plays Lindsay’s husband, but that’s all we can say,” Curtis revealed to EWbefore Lohan added, “Manny is so nice, so funny.”
The original 2003 reboot film was a worldwide box office success, grossing $160.8 million against a budget of $26 million.
At this time, Disney has only announced that Freakier Friday will be released in 2025.
