Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis embrace as they take on the waves in wetsuits while filming Freakier Friday

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis donned swimwear this week while filming the Freaky Friday sequel, Freakier Friday.

The actress, 38 — who recently posted a beaming selfie — was spotted filming with her 65-year-old mother in frame as they braved the waves and soaked up the sun in Malibu.

The appearance comes just days after both stars confirmed that this would be their final week of filming for the highly anticipated sequel.

As the cameras rolled, Lohan wore a green wetsuit with a white floral print that showed off her endless legs.

Her strawberry blonde locks were tied into a messy bun and she wore a light makeup look that accentuated her radiant skin.

Curtis, 65, wore a navy and teal wetsuit as she read her lines and clung to the New York resident.

Her silver locks flowed in the ocean breeze, while her radiant skin glistened in the sun. Her look was perfectly paired with designer sunglasses.

The duo frolicked barefoot in the sand as waves crashed against them, causing Curtis to fall to the ground on the spot.

On Monday, the Parent Trap star took on Instagram to share a heartfelt message, atop a selfie, letting fans know that this would be the final week of filming for Freakier Friday.

She wrote: “Happy Monday! It’s our last Monday on set of #freakierfriday and my heart is so full. It was such an amazing time making this film. The amazing cast, crew and everyone at @disneystudios put so much time and love into making this film!

“Thank you all! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to make this film, a story about family, mothers and their children and a film filled with love, laughter and a whole lot of heart! It was a pleasure working with my dear friend @jamieleecurtis who brings so much joy to our set every day and she made this all the more special!” she added.

Recordings for the second part of was announced in March and comes more than twenty years after the release of the debut film.

When asked about the sequel, Lohan said People“I’m really excited to work with Jamie again and see how far we can go,” she said after confirming she is reprising her role as Anna Coleman.

The Irish Wish star told media she thinks it will be “really fun”.
