Jodie Turner-Smith has broken her silence on ex-husband Joshua Jackson’s new romance with Lupita Nyong’o.
The 37-year-old British actress shared her thoughts in a new interview with The cut on Friday.
“Good for them,” Jodie said. ‘We need happiness to be able to parent peacefully together. I’m trying to take us to the Gwyneth [Paltrow] and Chris Martin level.”
The ex-couple share four-year-old daughter Juno Rose Diana Jackson, who was born in April 2020.
“I really hope they are happy and that it benefits us as a family,” the acolyte said, putting their daughter first.

The Anne Boleyn actress went on to explain what co-parenting with Joshua is like and how she has adjusted to life as a single mother.
“I just have to do everything I can to help Juno win and grow old peacefully with someone I once loved very much,” she told the newspaper.
‘Peace is what is needed now. Grace is what is needed now. Love, empathy, compassion. I try to be all those things and have faith that if I am all those things, I will see it reflected back to me,” she finished.
Joshua and Jodie were married as of 2019 and separated indefinitely in 2023.
Jodie cited “irreconcilable differences” in her October 2023 divorce filing as she attempted to remove herself from the “unhealthy” marriage.
Sources told DailyMail.com at the time that Joshua was ‘heartbroken’ over the split.
But just weeks later the Fringe actor, 45, confirmed his romance with 40-year-old Lupita. They were photographed publicly holding hands.
Jodie gave rare insight into the demise of her and Joshua’s relationship, previously telling Sunday Times Style: ‘Sometimes things we really want to work on just don’t work. And that’s okay.
‘The most important thing is that you choose what is healthiest for you and your family and especially for your children. There are so many different moments in our lives where we look at ourselves and say, ‘Who am I and am I true to that?’

‘If the answer is no, then you need to take action because I think there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us.
‘And they don’t just affect us, they affect everyone around us. I don’t think it’s a failure. We clearly had such a beautiful moment together. And now it’s time for a new moment for both of us,” she explained.
“The bravest thing in the world is to recognize when something isn’t working and then take action, and I always want to be that kind of example for my daughter,” she said firmly.
‘The big takeaway is that this is about as much love and joy as ever. This is just about taking a step forward towards a better life for everyone involved,” Jodie said.
