The glamorous wife, the Harley Davidson and a wall of Nike kicks: Inside the life of the ‘Centrelink bludger’ arrested in his undies and charged over his staggering unexplained wealth

A man who spent five years in prison before allegedly being caught with a Lamborghini, a Harley Davidson and two Rolex watches has been identified.

Mahmoud Bargshoon, 39, was charged on August 16 with dishonestly possessing and tampering with a unique identification code.

In May, police launched an investigation into the unexplained wealth of individuals believed to have ties to organised criminal networks.

Their investigation led them in July to a unit in Parramatta, in Sydney’s west, where they and seized a Lamborghini Huracan, a Harley Davidson V-Rod and two Rolex watches.

The seized goods have a combined value of more than $500,000.

Footage of Bargshon’s arrest also showed a shoe rack containing a number of Nike shoes, a premium footwear brand, and a large flat-screen TV on the living room wall.

The 39-year-old man had been on welfare since 2019 and was dragged out of the unit in his underwear by heavily armed officers.

Bargshoon previously came under media scrutiny following a dispute between his wife Fatima Hage and his ex-girlfriend Rose over a Rolex.

Rose accused him of stealing her luxury watch and then giving it to Mrs. Hage, a glamorous hairdresser.

Mrs Hage, on behalf of her husband, strongly denied the allegations to Daily Mail Australia, claiming she was wearing a different watch.

The $12,500 two-tone diamond watch was the subject of a months-long feud between the two women.

Before the relationship ended, Rose had suspicions and confronted Bargshoon, who denied having the watch.

Daily Mail Australia does not allege that Bargshoon stole the watch.

Ms Hage’s former lover, Kemel Junior ‘Blackie’ Barakat, was shot by masked men as she lay next to him in bed at an apartment in Mortlake, in the south of the city, at around 2.30am on March 10, 2017.

Following Bargshon’s arrest, his Lamborghini Huracan and Harley were seized by authorities.

Bargshoon earlier in May last year saw another $400,000 Lamborghini Huracan he was renting catch fire on the street in Olympic Park, in Sydney’s west.

Police were looking for two people who were seen with jerry cans just before the fire broke out, but no charges have yet been filed.

Bargshoon has now been published a summons to appear at the Parramatta Magistrates Court on Friday, October 4, 2024.
