Fans of Australia’s Chappell Roan were shocked to discover they were unaware the pop star toured the country last year.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter’s fame has risen rapidly this year, but she was relatively unknown when she visited Down Under in November 2023.
TikTok user @taliaontourr recently shared a short video of Roan performing at Liberty Hall in Sydney last year.
“The most magical concert ever,” the TikTokker captioned her video.
Shortly after, Roan fans flocked to the comments to express their shock and disappointment that they had not been able to see their pop idol.
“Sydney? Like Australia?” one fan wrote, to which another replied: “Yeah, last November.”
“Ugh I wish I knew,” said another follower, while someone else complained, “I’m so jealous I didn’t discover her sooner.”
“Why am I always way too late and miss the BEST artists before they’re famous?! WHAT’S THE SECRET?! ” another fan commented.

This comes after the Good Luck, Babe hitmaker criticised “weird” fans for overstepping boundaries in a series of TikTok videos earlier this week.
The singer made an impassioned statement on the social media platform, despite having endured a series of negative experiences.
“I want you to answer questions. Just answer my questions: If you saw a random woman on the street, would you yell at her from your car?” the Willard, Missouri resident said.
She continued: ‘Would you harass her in public? Would you go up to a random lady and say, “Can I take a picture with you?” and she says, “No, what the f***?” – and then you get mad at that random lady?’

Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, further described scenarios in which she felt her personal privacy was violated.
“Would you be offended if she said no to your time — because she has her own time?” the Good Luck, Babe! artist said. “Would you stalk her family? Would you follow her everywhere? Would you try to dissect her life and bully her online?
“This is a lady that you don’t know and she doesn’t know you at all. Would you assume that she’s a good person, would you assume that she’s a bad person? Would you assume that everything you read about her online is true?”
The Hot to Go! artist said: ‘I’m a random b****, you’re a random b**** – just think about that for a second, okay?’
Roan rejected the idea that she had to accept the unwanted attention given her growing stature.
“I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little bit famous, whatever,” Roan said. “I don’t care that it’s normal. I don’t care that this kind of crazy behavior is part of the job, the career field that I’ve chosen.
“That doesn’t make it okay, that doesn’t make it normal. That doesn’t mean I want it, that doesn’t mean I like it.”
Roan said she had no interest in “whatever” people think they “should be entitled to at any time.” [they] ‘to see a celebrity.’
Roan said she “didn’t give a damn” if people thought it was “selfish” of her “to say no to a photo, or your time, or a hug — that’s not normal — that’s weird.”
