Rumer Willis celebrates 36th birthday with daughter Louetta, one, after shaking off trolls’ ‘Bruce Willis clone’ comment

For Rumer Willis’ one-year-old daughter, Louetta, all birthday wishes have come true.

The 36-year-old House Bunny star, who takes her daughter to her film sets, went Instagram to celebrate her birthday with a carousel of selfies next to her daughter.

She paired the heartwarming photos with a lengthy caption about her journey as a mother and the impact Lou has had on her life.

The actress posted a snap of the two looking surprised and wrote: ‘When I told Lou, mommy turned 36!!’

She gushed, “My baby girl, you are every birthday wish I’ve ever had come true. You are my soulmate and the love of my life. This past year has been so wild and challenging and beautiful and you are such a light.”

Louetta Isley Thomas Willis gave birth naturally at home to the blonde beauty and her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas on April 20, 2023.

Rumer continued, “I’m so grateful for you. For your tenderness and love. I’ve learned so much this year. So much about myself. I feel freer and happier than I’ve been in a long time.”

She explained that her daughter had been a source of strength and that this had kept her “proud” of herself during difficult times.

“Navigating this last year has shown me a strength within myself that I didn’t know was possible and I’m so proud of myself,” she said. “I wrote some lyrics for a song I’m working on and they’ve never felt so true. ‘A voice rose up from my soul to tell me that I can let go and show me what I already know. That I’ve always been whole.’”

The multihyphenate then explained that she plans to move forward in this new year of life, putting herself and Luetta first.

‘So I release anything and everything that no longer serves me and set an intention through prayer for this next journey around the to be delighted and surprised by magic every day. To remember who I am, and to love all parts of me unconditionally.

“To keep walking this path that I’ve chosen and see what I discover along the way. The wild, the messy, the weird, the wonderful. Just you and me, child, it’s all magic. I’m so lucky to share life with you,” she ended.

Bruce Willis’ daughter’s birthday post comes just weeks after haters online called her and her sisters Tallulah and Scout “unattractive” and “clones” of their famous father.

Scout, 33, recently released her single Over And Over and posted a viral Instagram video of herself dancing to the track with loved ones including Rumer, Tallulah and mother Demi Moore.

Bruce and Demi were married from 1987 to 2000 and are still the friendly co-parents of their three children: Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30.

The sisters received scathing comments on Instagram about their appearance. Tallulah has now responded with a post that has since been deleted.

She said she, Rumer and Scout have faced “cruel and mean” ridicule about their appearance all their lives.

After the video went viral, Tallulah posted a screenshot showing the scathing responses she and her sisters received in Scout’s Instagram comments.

“It’s like Bruce Willis cloned himself three times lol,” one viewer wrote, to which another replied, “I’ve always said how can two such beautiful people have such unattractive daughters…. But that’s because they look like their dad!”

Tallulah responded, “Hi! By now you’ve probably seen the viral video of our family dancing in unison to @scoutlaruewillis’ new single! We love this video!”

She added: ‘What a joy to share this. People always seem shocked when we tell them how cruel and mean the comments have been about us, throughout our lives. That’s why I felt it was important to bring this person in and give an example of everyday Tuesday nonsense.’

Tallulah ended her Instagram response on a positive note: ‘thank god for therapy and thank god for the new @scoutlaruewillis song!!!’
