Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie Kelce reveals career move as the NFL legend prepares for his ESPN analyst debut

Kylie Kelce has announced a career move of her own as her husband Jason prepares to enter the broadcasting world for the first time this season.

Kylie, 32, who has been married to the NFL legend since 2018, is returning to her sporting passion: hockey.

The mother of three is returning to coach the varsity hockey team at Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia.

“I think one of the most important things about being a high school coach and a public high school coach is that we get a wide variety of athletes,” Kelce told People.

“Some people will decide to go on to Division I. Others won’t play past their senior year — they’re really there to enjoy the game and spend time with their friends. In our situation, everyone is welcome.”

This coming season will mark Kylie’s eighth consecutive year coaching the Lower Merion Aces. Kylie played Division III field hockey at Cabrini University.

“I think team sports help people work better together,” she added.

“Even the people who don’t want to play anymore after high school can still bring that with them,” Kelce continued.

“So we want them to be more confident when they leave. We want them to be able to work with a team, whether that’s in sports or in the workplace or in a classroom.

Kylie, who has daughters Wyatt (4), Ellie (3) and Bennett (18 months) with Jason, insisted that sports teams become family.

“You don’t have to like them, but you do have to love them and respect them,” she insisted. “And those are all things that I think are really important in life. They make you a better, more well-rounded person and better prepared for the world after high school.”

Meanwhile, as Kylie prepares to return to coaching, Jason trades the sidelines for the broadcast booth.

The Philadelphia Eagles legend is preparing for his next professional career after announcing in March that he would retire from the NFL after 13 years in the league.

The former center will co-host ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown, a role his wife believes is a perfect fit for him.

“I’m mostly excited to see Jason excel in a new role,” Kylie said of Jason’s new job. “I joke that it’s a pain in the ass that he’s good at everything, and I know I’m biased in that, but I truly believe that he’s good at everything because even if he’s not good at the beginning or the best at the beginning, he’s going to work tirelessly and endlessly until he can get there.”
