Joe Gomez did not travel with the Liverpool squad to Ipswich today as the defender considers his options.
The 27-year-old is open to a new challenge in his quest for a regular first-team starting spot, with strong competition from the likes of Jarell Quansah and Ibrahima Konate.
He saw a potential £45million move to Newcastle United fall through last month as part of negotiations over the deal for Anthony Gordon.
Gomez joined Liverpool from Charlton in 2015 for a fee of £3.5million and has made 248 appearances since then.
