A man from North Carolina faces murder charges after crashing a semitruck into a gentlemen’s club in Tampa, Florida, killing one and injuring two others. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, according to the police.

Dylan Fogle, 25, of Thomasville, North Carolina, has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, vehicular homicide, DUI with serious bodily injury, and DUI manslaughter, as per the Tampa Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 4:20 a.m. to reports of a pedestrian struck by a truck in the parking lot of Emperors Gentlemen’s Club on Adamo Drive.

Upon arrival, officers found a truck had crashed into the building’s front area leading to the entrance of the adult entertainment venue.

Witnesses reported that Fogle had been ejected from the club shortly before he drove his semitruck into a group of people standing at the entrance.

Preliminary investigations indicated that Fogle was expelled from the club due to inappropriate behaviour.

Police confirmed six individuals were at the entrance, including the three victims.

Giovanni Soto, one of the victims, died at the scene.

The other two men sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Both have since been discharged.

Fogle, who was also taken to the hospital, had a blood alcohol content exceeding the legal limit of 0.08%.

He is currently held without bond at the Orient Road Jail.
