Lara Trump Blames Foreign Entities and the ‘Deep State’ for X Problems
By Katelyn Caralle, Senior U.S. Political Reporter
Lara Trump blames Iranian hackers and a coordinated attack by the “deep state” for the disruptions that occurred at her father-in-law’s event on Monday.
The Republican National Committee co-chair and wife of Eric Trump accused haters of giving them a “free pass.”
It follows a rocky start to the former president’s event with Elon Musk on Monday, which began 40 minutes late and was riddled with disruptions — similar to the campaign launch event the billionaire CEO held last year for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as he launched his bid for president.
Lara Trump said late Monday night in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity:
I think it’s pretty clear at this point, there are a lot of people and there’s a huge effort, of course, to keep Donald Trump out of the White House. These people are scared to death. This is the deep state. This is the swamp in Washington, D.C.
These are the people who are in many cases our opponents. They know that the game is up once Donald J. Trump returns to the White House and they are terrified of it.
They have given three and a half years of carte blanche to those who want to carry out dark activities against us here in America and our allies around the world, and they want to continue for another four years with Kamala Harris at the helm.
Elon Musk invites Kamala Harris for an interview on X
Following his two-hour X Spaces conversation with Donald Trump on Monday night, Elon Musk extended a similar invitation to Kamala Harris.
The Democratic nominee has been criticized for not giving interviews since succeeding Joe Biden as the party’s standard-bearer in 2024.
I’m also happy to welcome Kamala to 𝕏 Spaces.
Before his invitation, Harris’ campaign team said in a statement:
Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself: egocentric rich people who are betraying the middle class and won’t be able to livestream in 2024.
Iran rejects Western calls not to attack Israel
Iran has rejected Western calls to refrain from a retaliatory attack on Israel over fears of a wider war in the Middle East.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said Tuesday that “Iran is determined to defend its national security” and claimed that requests for de-escalation “lack political logic.”
He accused Israel of violating its “sovereignty and territorial integrity” with the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
The demands for restraint “amount to open and practical support for the source of international crimes and terrorism in the region,” Kanaani added.
His comments came after the US and several European countries – the UK, France, Germany and Italy – issued a joint statement calling on Iran and its allies to “cease their persistent threats of a military attack on Israel”.
The White House warned Monday that an Iranian attack could occur within days after the US stepped up its military presence in the region by deploying a guided-missile submarine.
Trump campaign slams Harris team as ‘f***ing cowards’ after attack on ex-president’s faltering X event
By Katelyn Caralle, Senior U.S. Political Reporter
Donald Trump’s spokesman has slammed Kamala Harris’ campaign for refusing to attribute the attacks to a member of the team.
Steven Cheung called the vice presidential campaign “f***ing cowards” after they released a statement mocking the “wrong” X interview with Elon Musk and accusing Trump of wanting to serve “self-righteous rich boys.”
Trump’s attack dog complained in an X-post:
All these statements, and yet no one mentions their name.
The vice president’s Rapid Response X account released a statement Monday night regarding Trump’s highly anticipated livestreamed event with Musk, which followed the former president’s return to the stage earlier in the day after nearly a year.
The event started 40 minutes late and was accompanied by many disruptions.

Meanwhile, Democrats were busy raising money at the event, urging donors to “donate $25 now” as Musk tried to take “control.”
“Right now, Elon Musk is interviewing Donald Trump live on Twitter (we won’t call it ‘X’),” Harris-Walz’s campaign message began, before asking for money.
It’s not enough that Musk has pledged to donate millions of dollars to help Trump re-elect. He’s using his purchased platform—one of the world’s largest social media sites—to spread Trump’s unhinged, hateful agenda to millions of users.
Exclusive:The poll numbers that show why Kamala Harris stole Donald Trump’s plan to repeal the tip tax
On Saturday night, Vice President Kamala Harris pledged to eliminate the tax on tips for service providers if she wins the November election.
Her announcement sparked fury from Donald Trump, who accused her of stealing his idea after he made the same promise in June when a Nevada waiter told him she thought the government was taking too much of her tips.
But an exclusive poll for DailyMail.com shows why Harris is unfazed by accusations of theft: the policy is hugely popular with voters.
Nearly two-thirds of likely voters say they support the idea.
And it is popular across all demographics and groups. Trump voters, white voters, Hispanic voters, Harris voters, young and old, college graduates and non-college graduates all support the idea of eliminating the tip tax.
