University student Dai and musician Shun, both 23, met on Japan’s groundbreaking LGBTQ+ dating show and sparks flew.
After a rocky experience on the show, fans were concerned the couple wouldn’t last in real life.
People were quick to point out that they apparently didn’t post photos of each other on social media.
But the duo, who together go by the name DaiShun, have finally put the rumors to rest and revealed that they are still together almost a year after the finale.

The reality series follows nine gay men who live together in a house and look for love during the summer.
To strengthen the bond between the group, the group is also given the task of running a coffee truck together.
The series is seen as healthier than its British counterparts, including Love Island, and has captivated viewers.
Two of the show’s absolute favorites were Dai and Shun, who had an on-again, off-again relationship throughout the series, with intense fights over sharing t-shirts and emotional revelations about how they’d been hurt by their previous boyfriends.
But despite their tumultuous time on the show, it was clear the couple were deeply in love and in the final episodes they spent the night together, admitting they wanted more than just friendship.
And it seems to have paid off, as in a recent reunion episode, the two reality stars confirmed their relationship to the show’s hosts.
The loved-up couple held hands after the hosts asked if they were still together, showing their connection and reassuring fans.
They also revealed that they moved in together and Shun even lived with his parents for three months after filming.

The couple did not speak about their relationship after the show and continued to give their followers updates about their daily lives, leading fans to suspect that the couple had not been living together for long.
And Shun even charmed his boyfriend’s parents by telling them that his parents like him and think he’s funny and cute.
He revealed that his parents think there’s more to him than meets the eye, saying: “Despite his appearance, Shun is quite crazy. They think it’s funny and cute.”
During the reunion special, the couple admitted that they had only ever had eyes for each other and that despite all the ups and downs, they felt it was important to share their feelings with each other.
Shun said, “I was really conflicted until the end. I had ups and downs. But I wanted to tell him that I liked him.”
The couple didn’t talk about their relationship after the show ended, but continued to give their followers updates about their daily lives, leading fans to suspect that the couple wasn’t going to last long.
But on August 5, the couple shared a photo of themselves together, leaning into the camera with their arms crossed and smiling mischievously.

The couple seemed very much in love as they talked about their first dates and joked around with each other, before sharing footage of a romantic lunch where they checked off each other’s food and hugged.
Dai shared the news of their latest vlog via his Instagram Story, adding a link to the video and their account, which already has over 350,000 subscribers.
In a clip, the couple revealed what their hopes were for the future, with Shun saying: “For me, that means being able to be myself and take good care of Dai at the same time.
“I’m super excited,” he added.
The two then held hands as Dai said, “We did things we’ve never done before.
Before Shun added: “It’s like we’re at the beginning of a new chapter.
“I’m so glad I’m here with you.”
