Noah Lyles seen passionately dancing in Paris nightclub just days after missing Olympics 4x100m relay with Covid… and fans are shocked by his amazing recovery time

Noah Lyles was spotted dancing at a post-Olympics party in Paris on Sunday night, just over 48 hours after missing the U.S. 4x100m relay final due to Covid.

Lyles, who won gold in the men’s 100 meters this summer, withdrew from the relay on Friday after contracting the virus just before finishing third in the 200 meters final.

The 27-year-old is said to have entered the competition with a fever of 40 degrees. After winning bronze, he collapsed and required medical attention.

However, fans are stunned by his rapid recovery after he was spotted dancing passionately in a Paris nightclub on Sunday evening following the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.

In footage shared by TikTok user sam.bion.promoLyles looked back to health as he bounced around the dance floor amid a large crowd at the popular L’Arc Paris venue.

At one point, a friend wrapped him in an American flag as the dancing continued. The 100-meter champion was clearly in high spirits after his successful Games.

Still, several users pointed out Lyles’s apparent ability to recover, just over two days after he was declared unfit to help America in the 4x100m relay.

One of them wrote: ‘From the ER to the Club in one day…. Awesome’.

Another said: ‘that was a quick recovery’.

“The recovery time of those athletes is amazing lol,” wrote a third.

While one simply concluded: ‘He’s so good’.

Other Olympic stars were also in attendance at the nightclub on Sunday night, including Simone Biles, Leon Marchand and Derrick White.

A day after his U.S. teammates were disqualified from the 4x100m relay due to a failed handover in Paris, Lyles announced he was Covid-free after sharing a photo of his negative test.

He first tested positive last Tuesday, then finished third in Thursday’s 200m final behind Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo and his American teammate Kenneth Bednarek.

“Those guys raced great,” U.S. coach Lance Brauman said. “But to get a bronze medal in 19.70 in a temperature of about 102, that wasn’t too bad.”

Despite fans questioning how real his illness was, Brauman added of Lyles: “I mean, he was sick. People are going to say whatever they want, and that’s fine, but the guy was sick.

‘What he had to do to win that medal will be hard to forget.’

Lyles’ mother, Keisha Caine Bishop, alleged Saturday that Olympic security refused to help her son when he fell to the ground at the end of the race because he had trouble breathing.

Keisha, who was at the event at the Stade de France, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Noah lying on the ground: “This was one of the scariest moments of my life! Watching my son clutch his chest and gasp for air as stadium security refused to call a doctor as I begged them to help him.

“They also refused to do anything to help. They completely ignored me! No parent should ever have to experience this feeling of helplessness!

“I do want to thank the @nbcolympics team for their support during this time. Thank you for seeing me and my son as people and not just a story. Words cannot express my gratitude for your empathy, professionalism and kindness.

“And also thank you @usatf staff who let me cry on their shoulders. To the security team, I pray that if your loved one ever needs help, they are treated better than you treated us. I also thank God that he is doing better.”
