Catfish star Nev Schulman has broken his neck in a terrifying accident where his motorcycle collided with a truck.
The 39-year-old said the accident happened on Monday when he went to pick up his two-year-old son Cy from school.
He was rushed to intensive care after two nerves that control his muscles were severed. In some cases, such injuries left the patient permanently unable to walk.
However, Schulman assured his fans in an Instagram post on Saturday that he is “not paralyzed” and that he will “make a full recovery.”
Schulman posted several videos of himself wearing a neck brace in the hospital, one of which shows him slowly getting out of bed with the help of two staff members.

The accident happened on Monday and in the six days that followed he was able to walk independently through the hospital corridors again.
His album included a gruesome close-up of the gash in his neck, and X-rays showing first the extent of the internal damage and then his recovery.
Schulman also added heartwarming photos and videos of his family supporting and comforting him in the hospital.
One photo shows his wife Laura Perlongo lying next to him in bed, smiling happily together for the camera.
A short clip shows their three children, Cleo, seven, Beau, five, and Cy, two, visiting him and hugging him.
“I went fishing with my family on Sunday. It was incredible, my son’s idea. One of those days that just works,” he recalled. “It was magical. A day full of love and wonder, like only quiet days in nature with family can be.”
He added: ‘Monday was not a day like that. Monday was a day I learned what ‘before the accident’ really means. And Monday gave weight to how lucky I was to have Sunday. It’s true what they say – life can change in the blink of an eye.’
Schulman wrote: ‘I never made it to pick up my son from school on my bike. In a way, I’m glad I didn’t. I was alone at the impact. Me and the truck. And then I think the sidewalk. I was alone and unconscious. And then conscious again. Maybe I was OK (I wasn’t). Maybe I can still do my long run on Thursday (I couldn’t).’

He revealed: ‘I broke my neck. C5 and C6 to be exact. Stable fractures. I’m not paralysed. My hands were a bit of a question mark for a while, but the human body is incredible and so are PEOPLE.’
He praised the “incredible knowledge and care” he received from the medical profession, saying: “It’s hard to feel sorry for myself when I hear from doctors how many people with similar injuries will never walk again.”
He noted that he was “lucky to be here, alive, standing and hugging my family, and that he would make a full recovery.”
“And I’m really starting to understand the meaning of gratitude. For the big and small things, for the accident, and now everything moving forward.”
He added: ‘We hadn’t planned to go fishing last Sunday and my instincts said no to planning a day trip, but looking back on it a week later I’m so glad I said yes.’
He noted that he was “fortunate to be here, alive, standing and hugging my family, and expected to make a full recovery.”
