Christian Slater and his wife Brittany Lopez recently welcomed their second child together.
On Saturday, People confirmed that the couple’s son arrived last month.
While the publication confirmed the gender of their child, no other details were provided, such as the baby’s name, weight or exact date of birth in July.
The exciting news comes just months after Brittany, 35, announced she was pregnant. In April, they attended the Los Angeles premiere of Slater’s film Unfrosted.
The couple, who met while vacationing in Little Palm Island, Florida when she was 21 and he was 39, announced their pregnancy as they walked the red carpet at The Egyptian Theatre.

Lopez showed off her baby bump as she turned to the side next to Slater, 54, in a long floral dress during the private viewing.
He and Lopez already have a four-year-old daughter, but her name has not been released.
Slater welcomed his first two children Eliana, 22, and Jaden, 25, during his marriage to journalist Ryan Haddon.
In 2019, after the birth of his youngest, Slater said People He enjoyed seeing her newborn baby “really” recognize him and smile at him.
“It used to be involuntary,” he said enthusiastically. “Now she sees it and she smiles, and that’s a wonderful milestone.”
He also joked at the time about how “complicated” parenting has become since the 1990s.
“I thought your kid could get a few germs and be fine, and their immune system would build up. But now you have to wash everything,” he mused on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
He continued: ‘The bottles break into eight different pieces and it’s a puzzle that you have to put together.’

The exciting news comes just three months after Brittany revealed she was pregnant while attending the Los Angeles premiere of his film Unfrosted (out April 2024).
The artist admitted that the newborn phase was just “a constant chore” of constant cleaning and “late bedtimes.”
He further boasted that his wife was “pleased to see” that he “had some skills” thanks to raising his two eldest children.
“I had something to contribute, and I knew how to change diapers,” he explained. “She didn’t expect me to be as involved as I was.”
Slater and his wife secretly married in a Miami-area courthouse in December 2013.
The couple celebrated their engagement in 2012 with a New Year’s Eve party attended by hundreds of friends and family.

“It already feels a bit like we’ve completed the wedding,” he said at the time.
Although the official wedding was private, Christian and Brittany planned a family celebration later that year.
“It’s going to be good, intimate and small and family members. It’s going to be fun,” he said Peopleback then. ‘Honestly, you have to hire a planner and do all that, but we will organize it.
“We had a big engagement party on December 31st and it was fun. It was like a New Year’s Eve party and the whole family was there… so we’re just going to do it in a nice backyard,” he said.
