Naomi Watts has revealed her surprising family bond with Simon Baker.
The 55-year-old Australian-British actress shared an adorable photo of Stella Baker, Simon’s daughter, on Instagram Stories on Thursday.
Stella, 31, is seen laughing with friends at a restaurant, and at the top of the photo Naomi wrote: ‘Happy birthday to my incredibly bright and talented goddaughter Stella Baker. I love you so much.’
In her next Instagram Story, Naomi shared another photo of Stella, a throwback to when her goddaughter was still a child.
“Baby girl! Happy birthday!” she wrote again.
Naomi and Simon are good friends and even go on family holidays together since they worked together on The Ring Two in 2005.
Nicole Kidman is also the godmother of one of Simon’s three children.
Stella is an actor, like her father, who is best known for his role in the television series The Mentalist.

After landing a guest role on her father’s show in 2014, Sarah starred in the 2021 CW drama The Republic of Sarah, which ran for one season before being canceled.
She followed her father’s advice to pursue a career in Hollywood after discovering a passion for stage shows.
“I remember my dad saying to me, ‘If you’re happy doing theater for the rest of your life without getting paid for it — because that’s what most actors end up doing — great, and we’ll support you completely, and if you’re lucky, you’re lucky,’” she said. 9Entertainment.

In her next Instagram Story, Naomi shared another photo of Stella, this time a throwback to when her goddaughter was a child. ‘Baby girl! Happy birthday!’ she wrote again
‘I’ve been lucky so far, but I like doing everything because I just enjoy it.’
Despite his acting accolades, Simon has previously spoken highly of Stella and his two sons, Claude and Harry, saying his children are his “pride and joy.”
Simon married Rebecca Rigg, Stella’s mother, in 1998 but split in 2022.
The actor, who was 24 when Stella was born, told GQ magazine that his wife and family were the secret to his success on La La Land.
When we arrived [in the US]”I had a child and responsibilities. As a result, I saw the concept of success as being able to provide for my family,” he told GQ Australia in 2015.
