After announcing her third pregnancy, Cardi B is opening up about a near-fatal health crisis that almost cost her her recently announced pregnancy.
The Grammy Award winner, 31, was recently announced X Spaces chat that she had a ‘f***ing freak accident’ that left her temporarily paralyzed.
“I have to explain this here,” she began. “Because I don’t know how something – well, it wasn’t small, it really hurt…”
While she didn’t specifically mention the nature of her illness, Cardi said she had been through this before.
“It doesn’t really happen that often,” she said. “It turned into something so big that I was literally paralyzed. And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come. But that didn’t happen.”

Cardi said she has since returned from the hospital, but she is still in pain.
“Yesterday I felt good because I came home, but I came home high as a kite,” she said. “Today I woke up sober. Baby, I’m dying. I’m dying.
“I swear to God, if I don’t feel better in four hours, I’m going to the hospital,” Cardi added.
“And I don’t give a fuck, I’m gonna exaggerate this shit so I can get more morphine. Morphine me, I don’t give a fuck.”
