Revolutionary artiste Kasmuel McOure has announced that unidentified police officers who will arrest and h****s civilians during the much-anticipated Nane Nane protests will be treated as criminals.
In a video, Kasmuel alongside other activists and revolutionists underscored that the anticipated demos are aimed at airing grievances and discontent with the Kenya Kwanza regime and as such it shall not be in vain.
The vibrant artiste noted that any efforts to thwart the demos including using unidentified officers will be unacceptable and the citizens will deal with the individuals as terrorisers and thieves.
“If we see an unidentified man in civilian clothing riding in government vehicles that have obfuscated apologies, we shall treat them as robbers, thieves and terrorisers. I want to assure all Kenyans that we have not gathered here today in vain. We assure Kenyans that we will not see those madmen on the streets,” he said.
“Tomorrow is a forward march in our annals of history, Nane Nane is going to be our final day in the streets. We want to live in a country that gives us land; we want to live in a country that educates us; we want to live in a country where children who will not die from natural diseases will go to the streets because the Kenya Kwanza regime has taken everything we had. We have elucidated very well what our demands have been.”
Kasmuel reiterated that the protests driven by the youthful Kenyans would emerge victorious and the Kenyan youth remained unbound.
“We have gotten to a point in this country where we have Caucasians wielding arms on the streets. As we march towards a new republic Nane Nane, I want to assure you that the spirit of the Kenyan youth remains unbound. We shall march for our rights and liberate this country,” he added.
On their part, other activists stressed the need to liberate the country through the demonstrations and cautioned the youth against accepting bribes to infiltrate peaceful demonstrations and destroy property.
“Kesho ni siku ya kuchukua nchi yetu na tunasema ya kwamba tunajua vijana wa ghetto wamekua wakitumika kama goons, kesho ni siku ya kukataa, hizo pesa wamekua wakiiba wanakuja kutulipa nazo, tuende tuibie wakenya wenzetu tumekataa hio ujinga, kesho sisi wakenya wote tutaandamana na hatutishwi, haturudi nyuma,” Dennis, an activist from Dandora said.
The youth had vowed to spearhead demonstrations today to express their discontent with President William Ruto’s regime. The demos follow sustained protests which morphed from the controversial Finance Bill 2024 protests that rocked the country.
