The former model, ex-WAG and mother of two, 56, revealed she once enjoyed a night out with Tom Cruise after he skipped a film premiere to grab a bite to eat.
She said: ‘I used to get flown to LA to interview stars for ITV at red carpet events and I once interviewed Tom Cruise.
‘Something was going on, I was like, ‘mm-hmm’… I kept my mouth shut. Now when I was on the red carpet [after that]he had one of his biggest movie premieres, The Edge of Tomorrow, and he was the first to come talk to me.
‘I got a great interview and afterward I thought, I don’t want to see this movie. I don’t feel like it. I was with my son, so I said, “Let’s go get something to eat.”

In an interview with my Dirty Laundry Podcast she talked about how she got caught in the toilet by Simon Cowell and how she was pulled over by the police with a celebrity in the trunk of her car!
‘I walk into the restaurant… Who do I see? Tom Cruise. He didn’t want to see his own movie either.
‘So he whistles like this, because I’m walking to find a table. And he’s like, “Hey, hey, come over.”
And my son, who was outside… I had left because I walked into the restaurant, he came in looking for me and I’m sitting there with Tom Cruise and the director of the movie. And he bought us all dinner.’
During Lizzie’s last interview, she revealed that she first met her now good friend Simon Cowell when he caught her using the VIP toilet at Cipriani’s.
She said, ‘There’s Simon, I’m sitting on the toilet and I’m thinking, ‘No!’ And then he just spoke normally. He said, “Do I know you?”
‘And I went, I said, “No, but I know you.” And I was like, can you close the door? I couldn’t believe it.
Anyway, I came out and he said, “Okay, come have a drink.”
“So yeah, but that’s my story about how I met Simon, but that was a long time ago.”

He had jumped in after they had eaten together in Mayfair, so that no one would see him.
She said, ‘He said something like, “Lizzie, I have a new girlfriend. The last thing I want is to be seen with you.” I took that as a compliment.
He added, “Look, for your own good. She’s going to be very angry.”
Lizzie added that she accidentally drove through a traffic light because she was not used to the power of her car and was pulled over by police.
She thought, ‘I thought, if they open the trunk. What if Mickey Rourke is in there. Dead! What are they going to think?’
