Jennifer Lopez is reportedly ‘furious and humiliated’ over her split from husband Ben Affleck, ahead of an impending divorce filing.
The 55-year-old singer has been in the news alongside her 51-year-old actor husband, who has been embroiled in divorce rumours after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that the documents had been ‘finalised but not yet filed’.
Now sources have said Page Six that Ben delayed filing for divorce to “protect” Jennifer after it was revealed the two were no longer speaking.
An insider said: “He’s been humiliating her because she’s made a big deal about him being the love of her life. They’ve only had two weddings in two years. This is kind of a record, they’re not young kids.”
It is also believed that Jennifer is also upset about the divorce, as both of their children are involved.

“There are five children involved,” the source said. “She knew they were going to merge families. She hasn’t fully accepted that it’s over yet.”
Jennifer has twins, Max and Emma, 16, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, while Ben shares Violet, 18, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 12, with her ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The source further said that Ben has delayed filing for divorce to “protect” Jennifer.

The news came after Ben spent a whopping $20.5 million on a new bachelor pad in Pacific Palisades on July 24, the day his wife celebrated her birthday.
According to Jennifer’s friends, she was furious about the purchase and felt it “like a stab in the heart.”
Ben’s extravagant purchase came just days after the couple put their Beverly Hills mansion up for sale for $68 million.
And July 24 was also the day the singer closed on the sale of her four-bedroom penthouse in New York City for $23 million, People reported.
“They finalized the divorce papers a month ago, but are still waiting for the right time to file,” a source close to the duo said.
