Do your friends randomly lend you their Range Rover?
Well, SPM Buzz founder and comedian Eddie Butita’s friends do—or so he claims after coming out to clarify the ownership of the Range Rover Sport he has been spotted driving around town. Butita, who recently accompanied President Ruto on a US visit, took to Instagram to set the record straight.
In his post, Butita confirmed that while he has been seen frequently driving a sleek black Range Rover Sport, it does not actually belong to him.
“Wow, this car is beautiful. The Range Rover Sport is great. I borrowed this car from a friend a few weeks ago, and it has taught me a big lesson—I need to work extra hard and buy this car soon,” Butita shared.
He explained that using the car inspired his personal ambitions.
“I am manifesting, please pray for me to buy this car. I want a Range Rover. Put me in your prayers soon, and let me keep working hard. I want one just like this. AMEN,” he added.

Butita’s clarification came amid swirling rumors and jokes about the car’s true ownership. Some of his friends hinted at potential government involvement, with comments like, “I like how the government keeps you in shape… now next trip, get yourself to Karen.” from Hopekid.
