Black Ops 6 players are sleeping on a deadly rifle that can actually outgun weapons with an outrageously fast time to kill.
For the most part, Black Ops 6 matches are dominated by Assault Rifles and SMGs. Partly because of their automatic fire rates, but also because they thrive on multiplayer’s more compact maps, as you’re not forced into very long-range fights too often.
This means that some powerful guns in other categories often fly under the radar, and that’s exactly what’s happening in Season 4.
If you’re looking to delete enemies as quickly as possible, then the Goblin MK2 Marksman Rifle might just be the pick for you.
Goblin MK2 outguns meta guns with incredible TTK
Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal highlighted the Goblin in his June 12 video, breaking down meta loadouts in Black Ops 6. While he admitted that its semi-auto fire rate makes it a little unforgiving, in the right hands, it “melts” the competition.
To see exactly how strong it was, we headed over to TrueGameData to compare its TTK to other top-tier weapons, and the results were clear as day.
Using combination shots, meaning you hit a mix of head, chest, and extremities, the Goblin MK2 kills in just 200ms up to 25 meters.
This is unmatched by any Assault Rifle, with the closest competitor being the FFAR 1, which manages 256ms up to 16 meters. Even SMGs like the Saug and LC10 can’t keep up, despite their rapid fire rates.
The dominance continues at long range, as the Goblin can still take out enemies in an impressive 394ms at 70 meters, nearly 100ms faster than the Krig C. In fact, only fellow Marksman Rifle, the DM-10, can give it a run for its money, but this still can’t match the TTK over longer distances.
The main drawback is that these numbers rely on you using your trigger finger to fire as quickly as possible in every fight, which won’t be possible for many players. However, if you can master it, then the Goblin MK2 is the best weapon you might never have used in Black Ops 6.
